Introduction: In the movie Avatar, Jake Sully comes in contact with the Na’vi
people. The contact between the humans and Na’vi people create things like
Depopulation, Cultural contact, and Ethnocentrism.
Body 1. Ethnocentrism- thinking your
race land is the “best”. In the movie Avatar the humans show Ethnocentrism. The
humans thought they could take over the Na’vi peoples land.
Body 2. Depopulation- reduction in
population due to natural or human forces. The humans in the avatar movie
kill many Na’vi people by trying to take a rare kind of rock which was right
under the Na’vi’s village.
Body 3. Cultural contact- When two or
more different cultures come in contact. Jake comes in contact with the animals
of Pandora such as
