The navi like the first nations people both have great respect for there ancestors and listen to there wisdom and life lessons they have to teach they respect the land because thy understand the animals are just as important as they are in there lives

How the outsiders are threatening the way of life for the navi just as the colonists did to the first nations. The sky people destroy there homes and memoires witch is there whole source of hope in there lives like when the colonists wiped out there food and destroyed many of there hopes and dreams with alcohol. When the sky people started branching out destroying more of the forest with there lust they destroyed the trees witch contains the memories of there ancestors witch is some they value above every thing they have then while they try to recover at there homes the sky people knocked over there home a giant tree killing children. Like the first nations the colonists brought over great new things the first nations people adored but once they gave them a taste of this new hope they toke it away. The natives always had a rich source of food but when the colonists came there greed went ramped and stated wiping out herds of the buffalo then they had nothing. Then the first nations tribe were introduced to alcohol witch is the worst thing imaginable for a race that has never had it the alcohol will kill sense of right and wrong ad self respect and worth.
